I’ve got some bowl mania going on today 8)
Bowl #1
First, in the form of a salad bowl that Will brought back to Orlando in his suitcase and donated to my kitchen. Our conversation went as follows:
Will: Do you want this bowl?
Me: Huh?
Will: Would you use this bowl in your kitchen?
Me: Is that really a question?
To prove my point, I knew that I had to incorporate this size-of-my-head bowl into my lunch today. What’s a better way than in the form of a salad beast?
Into the big birtha bowl went romaine lettuce, avocado, celery, carrots, sundried tomatoes, cottage cheese, salt, pepper and balsamic vinegar.
Boy, did I use that bowl or what?
Bowl #2
The second type of bowl that will be part of my day is through bowling class that I’m going to be heading out to in a few hours.
Although I mock the seriousness of my bowling class all the time, I actually am seeing a lot of progress with my stats! When I started, my form (yes, there is such a thing as bowling form) was completely made-up and my average was probably about a 110– But as soon as I corrected my form, my average plummeted to 70
By practicing during class time every week, I’ve managed to regain my score with proper form and the last high score I bowled was a 137! Alley Cats Strike, here I come.
Oh and remember my lucky bowling socks from last week? Yeah, already got those in my purse—no worries
**Today’s the last day to enter my Eversave giveaway! The winner will be picked tonight and announced tomorrow morning.
A bit to think about: What’s the last thing you ate out of a bowl?

Cottage cheese on salads is the best! My favorite. I had a bowl for cereal this morning. Have fun at bowling class!
That salad looks awesome!!! I had homemade chili out of a bowl yesterday. It turned out pretty good if I do say so myself.
Have fun at bowling class! I definitely need help with my bowling form. Feel free to share any tips.

First of all, I totally have those exact same socks and they’re pretty darn comfy if I do say so myself! And secondly, if it makes you feel any better I typically bowl about a 30 or so…not even kidding. Have fun!

What kind of cottage cheese do you use for your salads? Yours always looks tastier than mine!

I’ve been through SO many cottage cheeses and the one I finally ended up loving is the Friendship brand, 1%. It’s a little more pricy, but the taste is WELL worth it!

The last thing I ate out of a bowl was… ice cream! B&J caramel and fudge is to DIE. So is Blue Bunny chocolate and salted caramel.

Hmm, let me think. The last thing I ate out of a bowl was possibly cereal last night. Or carrots and ranch. I think it was cereal. Dry, because 1) we are out of milk and 2) I don’t really like soggy cereal.

Your bowling socks are so cute. My mom bowls every week and she has a pair like that. Big bowls are the best. I mainly eat out of bowls now that I think about it.

Salad beasts are the best — yours looks delicious!
I can totally relate with bowling scores — I don’t bowl very often, but when I do, my scores are usually pretty sporadic. Once I got a 120, only to have my other scores be like 80 and 85! But it’s all in good fun
That’s so cool that you’re a bowler! Mid-week hobbies are what keep the work week movin’! Last thing I “bowled” was a big batch of homemade popcorn drizzled with melted peanut butter and chocolate. Holla!
mm! I hope you saved me some
